The price was excellent, ordering online was easy. I ordered on Sunday, the filter shipped on Tuesday, and arrived by USPS in perfect condition on Friday. "I found this high end photo gear shop during a price search. They had the best price available for the Epson R3000 printer. They had a mix-up on their ordering page, so the owner immediately contacted me to explain. This is a smaller company that clearly values their customers. I exchanged several emails discussing my choice of printer and various questions surrounding the order. When I then placed the order, I received immediate confirmation. Tracking was provided within 24 hours. Even after the order was placed, the owner kept in touch. I love this place. I hope to do business with them again."
"I ordered 2 new hard drives, total $380 with free shipping. When they arrived, I discovered 2 hard drives sitting in unmarked clear plastic clamshells, which were not sealed and the hard drives were not in any sealed bag of any sort. They also had some scratches on them. The 2 clamshells were packed in blue foam with squares cut out to fit the hd's in. There was NO original manufacturer's packaging or paperwork. These were obviously not new. They could be used, or they could be open box, but they were not new. I emailed LACC and got an RMA. I followed directions exactly and sent them back. 2 weeks later, no word from them and no credit on my card. I knew from tracking that they had arrived. Long story short, I called probably 10 times over the next month, each time being assured my refund was going to be posted immediately, always some lame excuse. Finally credit appeared--for $295. Where was the other $95? I called and was told I was charged a 25% restocking fee! The nerve! They sent me items that were not as ordered, and charge me for restocking? Next I spent a couple weeks dealing with a manager. She told me the warehouse had opened them "to test them". Huh?? At this point she admitted that I was correct, the items were not new since they were not in the box, but still REFUSED to refund the remaining $95. At this point I filed a dispute with AMEX. Today, February 19, I finally got my $95 credit on my card.
I will never again deal with these crooks. Beware.
BTW, their name is unfortunately similar to LA Computer Company, which is a great seller."

"I bought a Sony KDL-52XBR2. The salesman gave me an excellent price. I added 5 year warranties including the screen, and the price with shipping was the best I could find anywhere. The item was not yet in stock but the salesman called me back a few days later to tell me it had arrived and my order had shipped. It arrived promptly and the shipping company was very easy to schedule. It is a great television and I'm very glad to have saved so much money and to have received such good service from J&R. I've been buying from them for years and have always been pleased with them."
"Excellent experience. Prices on their site were great. I chose a hard drive enclosure and hard drive combo and ordered them late at night. Oops. Immediately I realized I had ordered the wrong items. The next morning I called customer service. There was no waiting for help. The person who took my call looked up my order, asked which items I wanted, and quickly cancelled the original items and entered an order for the items I wanted. It shipped later that with tracking sent to me; I paid their UPS ground shipping cost, and it was upgraded to 2-day without additional charge just as their web site promised. Everything arrived carefully packed, in new sealed boxes, and worked perfectly.
I had never ordered from them before, but this was perfect in every way."

"Great place to do business. The website is klunky, but I called to order. You can tell this is a smaller business without dedicated phone sales people; you talk to someone on the store floor. When I asked if the tripod was in stock, the reply was "I can see 3 on the shelf right now." Quick friendly service. I really like this store. My tripod arrived in 2 or 3 days."
"I ordered a Canon 1D Mark II advertised online with low shipping price, when it was unavailable at most other sellers. I wanted to be sure it was really in stock, so I called. Yes, I was told it was. I ordered and got the same good online price. I received it 8 days later (standard ground shipping). Good price and service. My only quibble is it was impossible to track online from their web site and I was not emailed a shipping confirmation/tracking number. I did get the tracking number by calling customer service. It was a good but not perfect experience."
